  • Voted to approve the purchase of the Auburn Resource Center (ARC) building which houses the Auburn Food Bank, Ray of Hope Overnight Shelter, Community Court, and serves our community
  • Voted to modernize and formalize new Departments in city code

  • Voted to approve the updated 2024 Comprehensive Plan which provides policy guidance up to 20 years into the future
  • Advocated for climate resilience initiatives and measures to address extreme heat in Auburn's valley

Community Safety

  • Voted to approve the School Zone Camera program to reduce speeding and reduce risks to children crossing the street on their way to school
  • Updated Stay Out of Drug Area ordinance to increase penalties for repeat drug offenders and offenders committing violence near key areas of the city like parks and schools where children are present
  • Voted to approve budget funding for increased safety including: 10 new positions within the Auburn Police Department, a recruiting website for police officers, and an ARPA-funded Take-Home Vehicle Program to attract and retain officers
  • Requested an ad hoc committee to review Domestic Violence
  • Requested an ad hoc Committee to review Youth Gun Violence
  • Participated in “Safe Auburn: Community Conversations”

Economic Development

  • Voted to approve funding for the Downtown Theatre Project to replace the Auburn Ave Theater which was damaged in the July 2021 fire at Max House Apartments and Nelson's Jewelry building
  • Voted to support the GSA Development Agreement, 165 Acres, to encourage new business investment in south Auburn
  • Voted to approve a Comprehensive Plan Sub-Area for Segale Properties site, 876 Acres, to ensure the gravel mine is redeveloped in a way to meet the city's future growth targets for housing and job creation
  • Advocated for review of Transportation Impact Fees

  • Updated the Mayoral Benefits & Leave policy to align with regional standards
  • Voted to approve budget for a salary survey for non-affiliated staff to ensure our employees compensation rates are competitive and fair
